Introduction

This document reports a detailed study of the accuracy of BeppoSAX LECS and MECS sky position reconstruction.

This work has been motivated from the evidence of a  ~40 arcsec discrepancy between LECS and MECS source positions, as noticed by various BeppoSAX users and in particular by Tim Oosterbroek (private communication).
