Wide Field Camera Channel to Energy Conversion

This table gives preliminary calibration values for the limits of the energy channels for both Wide Field Camera's. Lower boundary values are given, so that, e.g., energy channel 2 of the WFC1 encompasses the energy range of 1.71 up to 2.03 eV.
There are 31 energy channels. The value given in the table for channel 32 just denotes the upper boundary of channel 31. Note the differences between both camera's. Do NOT use the first and last channels, as their energy boundaries cannot be determined sharply (see the Crab calibration page).
As of now, there are still some calibration problems. In the future the channel boundaries may be changed by choosing a different value for the gain.
(Note: an energy of 1.0 keV corresponds to a wavelength of 12 Angstrom = 1.2 nm.)
