The specific PDS scripts pds_hv_windows, pds_dir and pds_logsum perform the following tasks:

• generation of time windows for:
  • intervals when the units High Voltage (HV) are within the nominal expectation values
  • each position of the two PDS collimators ("off-", "on", and "off+")
• merging of time windows
• accumulation of spectra for each of the four PDS units in each of the collimator positions;
• addition of the spectra of each units accumulated in the positions "off-" and "off+" and subtraction from "on" spectrum
• rebin of the background subtracted spectra
• gain linearization of the spectra
• sum of the rebinned, linearized, background subtracted spectra
